Federico Sanz is a PhD Fellow with dual affiliations at UNU-MERIT and Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM).
He holds a Master's degree in Economic History and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, both from the Universidad de la República (UdelaR), Uruguay. His master's thesis examined long-term economic convergence and structural change in Uruguay. His research interests include economic development, structural change, and productive transformation. He works as a research assistant at the Department of Economics (dECON) at UdelaR.
