Amir Mohammad Rahmani is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Maastricht University, specializing in online higher education, digital learning environments, and student engagement. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Management from Allameh Tabataba'i University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Damghan University, both completed with distinction.

Amir Mohammad Rahmani’s research explores the intersection of digital transformation and equity in higher education, with a particular focus on online learning environments in emerging economies. His doctoral work critically examines the structural, psychological, and technological factors that contribute to student dropout in online higher education, aiming to inform data-driven interventions and inclusive policy design.

With a background in industrial engineering and management, Amir brings a systems-thinking approach to educational challenges. His research blends quantitative methods such as survey analysis, structural equation modeling, and machine learning with qualitative insights into learner experience. His interests span educational access, self-efficacy, digital literacy, and the socio-economic determinants of online learning outcomes.

Beyond his academic work, Amir has engaged in collaborative research and educational initiatives aimed at improving digital readiness and reducing inequalities in online education. He is passionate about advancing evidence-based strategies that make higher education more resilient, accessible, and inclusive in a post-pandemic world.
