UNU Macau Digital Technology and Sustainable Development Talent Program Winter Camp Kicks Off

This Winter Camp will be held January 20-24, 2025 at the United Nations University Institute in Macau.

The UNU Digital Technology and Sustainable Development Talent Program Winter Camp was officially launched on January 20, 2025, at the United Nations University Institute in Macau. The camp will run from January 20 to 24, offering participants an immersive and enriching experience.

Themed "Technology and Sustainability in the Age of AI," this year's camp aims to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence, including its fundamental principles, practical applications, and its potential to address global challenges and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dr. Jingbo Huang, Director of the United Nations University Institute in Macau, warmly welcomed participants from prestigious universities, including Wuhan University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Peking University, Communication University of China, Fudan University, Dalian Maritime University, and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

Over the course of the week-long in-person sessions in Macau SAR, China, participants will engage in in-depth study and research on the Sustainable Development Goals and digital technology. The program is designed to provide participants with a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with UN agencies, enhancing their professional skills for international organizations and broadening their global perspectives. More than just an academic event, this Winter Camp serves as a platform for fostering the next generation of leaders in digital technology and sustainable development, equipping them to tackle the pressing challenges of our time.
