Our sincere gratitude to all those who submitted proposals for the UNU Macau AI Conference 2025.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all those who submitted proposals for the UNU Macau AI Conference 2025. We are pleased to announce that we have received 265 proposals from 54 countries, with 63% of these submissions representing the Global South. This level of participation underscores the global interest in AI and its role in addressing key challenges related to sustainable development.

The proposals submitted address a wide range of critical issues, including AI governance, the digital divide, sustainability, education, and economic development. These topics are central to the goals of the conference and reflect the urgent need for international dialogue and cooperation.

Following a thorough review process, we have begun issuing the first wave of acceptance notifications. If your proposal has been accepted, please refer to your email for further instructions. We encourage you to follow the instructions carefully and kindly respond before the deadlines.

For those who have not yet received notifications, we ask for your patience as the second wave of acceptance notifications will be sent soon. We appreciate your understanding as we manage the large number of submissions.

Please note, due to the number of submissions, the notification for the poster sessions will be extended to a later date. Updates regarding this will be shared in the near future.
