The primary objective of this workshop is to validate and refine the concept for the Critical Minerals Information and Knowledge Hub (C-MINK), a self-sustaining, African-led knowledge platform that supports countries in managing the transition to a green economy by leveraging critical minerals strategically, sustainably, and equitably.
With participation from various experts in sectors including: Natural Resource Management, Energy Transition, IO's, Private and Governmental regulatory bodies, as well as Academia, this workshop is to co-develop an actionable implementation and engagement plan for African governments, regional institutions, and global partners.

By the end of the three days, participants will have:
– Validated the strategic rationale for C-MINK in the current geopolitical and economic context.
– Aligned the concept with the real policy and governance needs of African countries.
– Identified the necessary concrete outputs, value-added services, and partnerships for implementation.
– Developed a draft roadmap for piloting and institutionalizing the platform.
