Alejandro Iturrizaga currently serves as Knowledge Management & Communications Manager at UNU-IIGH.
He is a communications professional with over 12 years of work experience in the United Nations system, including roles at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Lima, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in Washington, D.C., and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva. His work focuses on strategic communication, advocacy, and knowledge management to advance sustainable development, human rights, and social justice. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from the University of Lima, Peru.
