This parallel session of the 20th International Conference on Waste Management and Technology will discuss the integration of circular economy principles — including resource efficiency, waste minimization and value retention throughout product lifecycles — into business education. The event will consider economic, environmental and social perspectives to explain circular economy business models in real-world contexts, and help prepare educators and university students in their roles as decision makers and future business leaders.

Background

ProSPER.Net is an alliance of higher education institutions in the Asia-Pacific region working to integrate sustainable development into curriculums and research, for which UNU-IAS serves as the secretariat.
