On 7–11 April 2025, UNU-IAS contributed to the 24th Session of the UN Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA) at UN headquarters in New York. CEPA is a technical advisory body for improving governance and public administration for development.
The session focused on the theme Governance and Institutional Perspectives on Advancing Sustainable, Inclusive, Science and Evidence-based Solutions for the SDGs. UNU-IAS provided evidence-based inputs through interventions during the session and two written submissions:
- Sustainable public finance (agenda item 7)
- Leveraging key advances in building strong institutions and governance for climate action, focusing on clean energy transition (agenda item 9)
