UNU-IAS was recently featured by Chunichi Shimbun where the activities of the Sustainable Development Goals – Universities Platform (SDG–UP) Project were highlighted. The SDG–UP Project aims to promote and integrate the SDGs into all aspects of higher education in Japan.
This article presented the ideas of Shigeo Tanaka, Vice-President of Kanazawa University, who discussed the importance of the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking in boosting the social contributions of Japanese Universities and creating more synergies amongst the global community.
