The primary goal of this project is to create a comprehensive "How-to" note on CivicTech that facilitates citizen engagement through technology. This publication aims to provide practical, actionable insights and a deep understanding of CivicTech applications to support World Bank Group projects and government initiatives, enhancing transparency, enabling public feedback, and fostering collaboration.

Activities

  • Leverage the knowledge and experience of GovTech staff within the World Bank Group and experts from UNU-EGOV to compile the most effective practices and insights on CivicTech.

  • Develop the content of the How-to note, ensuring it includes practical examples and case studies that illustrate successful CivicTech implementations.

  • Conduct consultations with stakeholders to gather additional insights and validate the content of the How-to note, ensuring it meets the needs of project managers and government officials.

  • Review and finalize the How-to note based on feedback received.

Outputs

How-to-Note Guide on CivicTech, designed to be a practical guide for implementing citizen engagement technologies in government operations and World Bank Group projects.
