The objective of the project is to identify tangible opportunities to support the work of the Republic of Ghana MDA’s in leveraging Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) for trade and investment, particularly for the development of cross-border and regional infrastructure.
The initiative is part of a Collaboration Agreement between UNU-EGOV and The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET).
Activities
A1.1. Development of a policy brief that:
- Identifies existing DPI uses on the African continent for trade and investment (including the financing and development of regional infrastructure projects)
- Identifies gaps and opportunities for DPI and the potential impact this can have on continental trade
- Map countries, public sector, private sector, development partners and other stakeholders' knowledge to co-create tangible opportunities to leverage DPI in this space
A2.1. Present the findings of the research at a peer-learning event to be agreed upon at a later date (online and for no more than 120 minutes).
