In the quest to be the central knowledge source for Indian smart cities, it is imperative for the current knowledge platform to have relevant content and the right tools to benefit from the learnings of practitioners from across the world. Under this project, UNU-EGOV contextualized smart city case studies for the Indian audience and appended the same to the knowledge portal. In addition, UNU-EGOV, along with the World Bank team, analysed the capacity-building needs of Indian Smart City stakeholders and proposed appropriate training materials for formally building the capacity of Indian smart city SPVs in implementing their smart city plans.
