UNU-CRIS Partners with UN Global Compact Network Poland and SGH Warsaw School of Economics for Certificate Programme on ESG Reporting

UNU-CRIS partnered with UNGCNP and SGH for an executive ESG training program, featuring a keynote on regional integration by Philippe De Lombaerde.

UNU-CRIS was pleased to partner in the four-day executive certificate programme, "Sustainable Development in Practice: ESG Reporting in the New Regulatory Landscape", held throughout September 2026. Jointly organised by the UN Global Compact Network Poland (UNGCNP) and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, the initiative addressed the rapidly evolving compliance standards and strategic demands surrounding corporate sustainability and non-financial reporting.

Designed for business leaders, sustainability officers, and policy practitioners, the programme offered in-depth training on navigating complex European and international regulatory frameworks. Through practical modules and expert-led sessions, participants gained critical insights into translating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards into actionable corporate strategies and transparent reporting mechanisms.

As part of the institute’s contribution to bridging academic research and responsible business practice, UNU-CRIS Director Philippe De Lombaerde delivered a keynote lecture titled "Regional Economic Integration and Responsible Business". His session explored the crucial intersections between regional trade dynamics, governance frameworks, and the operationalisation of responsible business conduct within increasingly interconnected regional markets.

UNU-CRIS remains committed to supporting capacity-building initiatives that foster sustainable economic integration and align private sector governance with global sustainability goals.
