Davide Manzoni is a PhD fellow at the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT).
Davide’s research interests include development economics, political participation, political violence and social protection. Davide has a background in Political Science and International Relations and hold a Master’s degree in Global Management and Politics from LUISS University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Human Development with a Major in Social Protection from the joint program University Of Maastricht and UNU-MERIT. Prior to the Doctoral Program he worked as a research assistant on poverty and social protection for the UNU Institute. Davide is particularly interested in the potentialities of embedding critical, decoloniality, queer and feminist theories in policy-making practices and Academia and co-founded the Critical Policy Lab to foster such a debate.
