The UNU Macau Training 2026 (Teachers’ Sessions) officially opened on 27 April 2026 at the United Nations University Institute in Macau. Running from 27 to 29 April, this three-day programme marks UNU Macau’s first dedicated training for educators and introduces a pioneering collaboration with Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU).
The programme brings together 13 participating teachers from diverse academic fields to explore AI, digital governance, pedagogy and sustainable development. Key topics include AI ethics, generative AI for research, policy simulation and AI-driven teaching practices.
Through in‑person workshops and interactive sessions, participants will engage with UNU Macau experts and guest speakers from University of Saint Joseph (USJ). The training blends thematic lectures, hands‑on tool demonstrations, expert exchanges, and collaborative discussions — equipping educators with practical insights into AI applications for teaching, policy research, and governance.
