Yuanyuan Li is a Research Fellow Intern at the United Nations University Institute in Macau and a Master’s candidate in International Affairs at Fudan University. Her research interests center on AI governance, policy narratives, international communication, and Global South perspectives.
Her research examines how emerging technologies are framed, how different actors articulate values and set governance agendas, and how these processes shape areas of policy convergence and divergence. Drawing on experience across policy research, strategic communication, and industry-focused policy and planning projects, she is interested in how ideas about technology move across academic debate, institutional agendas, and policy action.
