Elliot Mur is a policy and advocacy professional with expertise in human rights, peace and security, and multilateral cooperation.
At UNU-INWEH, he serves as Policy Support Assistant, where he develops policy and communication materials and promotes knowledge-sharing among stakeholders in preparation for the 2026 UN Water Conference. He also supports the planning and organization of workshops, ensuring outcomes align with partner and donor priorities and strengthen UNU-INWEH’s initiatives.
Elliot has experience in research, policy development, communications, and stakeholder engagement with UN agencies, NGOs, and other international organizations. He has contributed to policy reports, strategic recommendations, and high-level events on issues such as child protection, conflict-affected populations, and environmental peace and security.
He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
