WEBINAR | Gendered Workplace Violence in the PHC Workforce Part 2 - Setting a Research Agenda: Learning from Experiences in Africa

Revisit the second Gender and Health Hub webinar on Gendered Workplace Violence in the PHC Workforce.

Time
- Asia/Kuala Lumpur

Workplace violence in healthcare is a global crisis—with 61.9% of health workers experiencing some form of violence. In Africa, like most places in the world, deep-rooted gender and power inequalities in the health system pose significant well-being and safety concerns, especially for female health workers, leaving many without adequate support or protection.

During the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the second Gender and Health Hub webinar on Gendered Workplace Violence in the PHC Workforce was held.

This session, co-hosted with the African Community of Practice on Gender and Health, will spotlight real-world experiences from South Africa, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso, and explore how we can drive research and action to make healthcare workplaces safer.
