The Promotion of Sustainability in Postgraduate Education and Research Network (ProSPER.Net) is an alliance of leading universities in the Asia-Pacific region that are committed to integrating sustainable development into postgraduate courses and curricula. The network is developing a new generation of leaders who can best tackle global sustainability challenges at a time of rapid environmental change. By changing how higher education institutions teach sustainability, the network improves the ways in which future professionals manage sustainability issues across a wide variety of disciplines.
Founded in 2008, ProSPER.Net is part of an international effort that recognizes the key role of education and research in creating a more sustainable future. Its member institutions throughout Asia-Pacific offer strong education and research programmes in sustainability and related fields and work towards a common cause: creating multi-disciplinary solutions to respond to a wide range of sustainability challenges.
