Report Analyses SDG Integration in International Cooperation Projects

The report explores how international cooperation projects have incorporated the SDGs in policy planning and implementation.

A new report explores how international cooperation projects have incorporated the SDGs in policy planning and implementation, focusing on multilateral development banks such as the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, as well as the financial mechanisms of environmental conventions such as Green Climate Fund and the Global Environment Facility. It analyses different types of climate actions in terms of synergies and trade-offs with other sustainable development efforts, and compiles case studies illustrating good practices.

The report was produced by the Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC), as part of the UNU-IAS research project Governance for Sustainable Development.

The publication is available to download at UNU Collections. The digest version of the report is also available.
