UNU-IAS offers master’s and doctoral degree programmes focused on sustainability. The programmes aim to produce the policymakers and researchers of tomorrow who will be at the forefront of global efforts towards a more sustainable future.

The admissions process for the academic year 2026-2027 will begin in December 2025. Prospective students for September 2026 admission are strongly encouraged to join this online information session. It will provide insights into the learning experiences, ongoing research and other unique opportunities available to our students. The event will also explain eligibility requirements and the application process. 

During the event several current students and alumni will share their reasons for choosing UNU-IAS, as well as their learning experiences. Each of them will explain their research at UNU-IAS and its contribution to their career development.

Participation & Registration

Participation is open to all, but please register in advance using the online form by 8 December 2025 (23:59 JST). Please note that a recording of the session will not be available.
