Green and Digital Transformation to Achieve the SDGs Locally

UNU-IAS will host an online symposium on green and digital transformation for local achievement of the SDGs.

On Monday 6 December 2021 at 14:00 – 16:30 JST, UNU-IAS will co-organise an online symposium on “Green and Digital Transformation to Achieve the SDGs Locally”, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOEJ). It will share case studies of actions to achieve the SDGs at the local level by enhancing synergies, including efforts to achieve a carbon-neutral society.

The event will also consider ways to leverage ICT to enhance communication and partnerships in order to accelerate transformative change at the regional and local levels.

This event is an outreach activity of the Global Environment Outreach Centre (GEOC), a joint initiative of UNU-IAS and MOEJ.
