Apply Now for Our Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme

The deadline for applications is 31 March 2024.

UNU-IAS is now accepting applications for the JSPS–UNU Postdoctoral Fellowship programme, which will commence in September to November 2024. 

Jointly organized by UNU-IAS and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), the programme provides promising, highly qualified young scholars with the opportunity to conduct advanced research in sustainability in cooperation with host researchers at Japanese universities and research institutions. Under this programme, fellows conduct research relevant to one of the main thematic areas of UNU-IAS: 

  • Governance for Sustainable Development 
  • Biodiversity & Society 
  • Water & Resource Management 
  • Innovation & Education

The application deadline is 31 March 2024 (23:59 JST).
