UNU-FLORES celebrates a significant achievement as both excellence cluster proposals it was involved in “Responsible Electronics in the Climate Change Era – REC²” and “Climate-Neutral And Resource-Efficient Construction CARE,” have successfully advanced to the next round.
An international panel of experts appointed by the German Research Foundation and German Science and Humanities Council assessed a total of 143 draft proposals and selected 41 as valuable funding opportunities.
“As a member of the DRESDEN Concept, we take immense pride in collaborating with other forward-thinking institutions. This isn’t just about advancing our proposals; it’s about shaping the future of sustainability,” notes Professor Edeltraud (Edel) Guenther, Director of UNU-FLORES.
As these excellence cluster proposals advance through the rigorous stages of the competitive selection process, UNU-FLORES upholds its commitment to use research findings to not only shape industry practices and policy frameworks but also play a catalytic role in elevating the standards of sustainability.
