Dr. Johannes Cullmann, a distinguished German water scientist with extensive experience in international water cooperation and sustainable development at organizations like the World Meteorological Organization and the UN, now at the German Federal Water Agency, the Institute for Water Education in Delft, and UNU-FLORES in Dresden, will explore a critical question: What do our #SDGs indicators truly mean?

His presentation delves into how political negotiations lead to goals and measurable targets, using the SDG indicator framework as an example. Dr. Cullmann will challenge us to consider whether we are playing a "losing game" in sustainable development and propose a redefinition.

The Nexus Seminar Series is coordinated by Prof. Serena Coetzee and Prof. Samanthi Dijkstra-Silva.

Don't miss this insightful discussion on rethinking sustainable development!
