Ab dem 04. Mai 2023 haben wir alle Ressourcen, die uns in Deutschland zur Verfügung stehen, aufgebraucht. Von den 365 Tagen des Jahres verbleiben 243 Tage, an denen wir über unsere Verhältnisse leben. Um auf diesen Tag aufmerksam zu machen, veranstaltet UNU-FLORES und der Nachhaltigkeitsbeauftragte der Stadt Weißwasser Martin Gärtner eine Eröffnungsveranstaltung zur Ausstellung der Sächsischen Landesstiftung Natur und Umwelt. Ziel der Ausstellung ist es, interessante Projekte aus allen Bildungsbereichen der BNE darzustellen und in die Bevölkerung zu tragen und somit zu mehr Bekanntheit zu verhelfen. Deshalb wird die Ausstellung über das Jahr an verschiedenen Orten in Sachsen gezeigt, um möglichst vielen Menschen einen Besuch zu ermöglichen.
Für die Kinder gibt es eine Bastelecke und Mitmachangebote.

Die Ausstellungseröffnung ist eine Veranstaltung von UNU FLORES und der STADT WEISSWASSER und wird im Rahmen der Workshops und Erlebnistage zu den Nachhaltigkeitszielen von UNU-FLORES durch den EKU ZUKUNFTSPREIS finanziert.

Opening of the Saxony-wide exhibition
on projects of education for sustainable development (ESD)
On German Earth Overshoot Day at the Weißwasser City Library (Straße des Friedens 14)

As of May 04, we will have used up all the natural resources available to us in Germany. This means that for the remaining 243 days in 2023, we will be living beyond our resource means. To draw attention to this day, UNU FLORES and the Sustainability Officer for the City of Weißwasser Martin Gärtner will host the launch of the Saxon State Foundation for Nature and the Environment exhibition. The aim of this event is to present innovative projects from across multiple areas of Education for Sustainable Development, and to bring them to the public’s attention. To increase visibility, the exhibition will be shown at various locations in Saxony throughout the year to promote accessibility for all.
There will be a craft corner and hands-on activities for children.

About the Event:
The exhibition opening is a collaborative event hosted by UNU-FLORES and the CITY OF WEISSWASSER and is financed by the EKU FUTURE PRIZE within the framework of the workshops and hands-on experiences pertaining to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
