Aishwarya is a Doctoral Researcher in the Joint PhD Programme between UNU-FLORES and TU Dresden.
Aishwarya comes from an academic background in Environmental Policy and in her Master’s thesis conducted an analysis of the water crisis in Israel and Yemen. Before joining UNU-FLORES, she worked at a school district in Colorado Springs managing their Environmental Safety and Policy protocols and as a Research Assistant conducting market research at the Wharton Entrepreneurial Research Center in Philadelphia.
At UNU-FLORES, she is working on the topic “Exploring the Sustainability Nexus Within Agroecological Transition Governance in the Americas: The Case of Argentina”. Her research focuses on identifying the institutional mechanisms and actor dynamics that either support or constrain agroecological transitions in Argentina, under a critical institutionalism framework.
