The executive training program aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the economic, technological, and policy dimensions of ICT. Participants were exposed to innovative ICT concepts such as E-Government, Smart City, and Mobile Government (M-Government), featuring demonstrations drawn from practical experiences across different countries. The second facet of the training focused on highlighting the necessity and benefits of effective policy and management in ICT infrastructure, including aspects like broadband and wireless spectrum access. This portion aimed to guide participants in addressing critical issues related to regulatory governance and ICT market management. To enhance participant engagement, the training program incorporated interactive elements such as discussions and writing practicums. Notably, a policy brief writing session was included to provide hands-on experience and practical application of the concepts covered during the training.

Activities

Organised in sessions, the training programme was designed by UNU-EGOV experts. Global, regional, and local good and best practices are highlighted throughout. Each course is completed by an explicit assessment on the topics covered and a feedback survey.
