Newly Appointed AMA President visits UNU-EGOV

This visit allowed both organisations to discuss ongoing projects and potential areas for collaboration.

Delfina Soares, Director of UNU-EGOV, welcomed Sofia Mota, the new President of the Portuguese Administrative Modernization Agency (AMA), to our facilities in Guimarães this Thursday, July 25. Sofia Mota has been appointed President at AMA since May 2024.

The meeting focused on ongoing projects involving both organizations and, more importantly, on exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

AMA is the public institute responsible for promoting and developing administrative modernization in Portugal. Its operations are divided into three areas: Digital Transformation, Omnichannel Public Service, and Administrative Simplification, and it is overseen by the Minister for Youth and Modernization of the Portuguese Government.
