Kueiyou Liu is a research intern at UNU-CRIS within the Economic Interactions Cluster, under the supervision of Nanditha Mathew.
During his research internship at UNU-CRIS, Kueiyou will primarily work on the economic and institutional analysis of emerging digital systems, with a focus on incentive design, funding mechanisms, and their implications for collective action and resource distribution.
He is currently pursuing a Master in Economic Policy and Governance for Development and Resilience (jointly offered by Università Telematica Universitas Mercatorum and UNU-CRIS), as well as an LL.M. at Soochow University (Taiwan). He also holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from HSE University, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Fudan University.
He previously served as an Associate Researcher at the Securities and Futures Bureau of Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission, where he conducted regulatory research on virtual asset service providers (VASPs). Prior to this, he worked in financial institutions as a risk management specialist. He also holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
