Hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026, this fireside chat marks the launch of the AI for Good flagship report produced by UNU-CPR, Unlocking AI's Potential to Serve Humanity. Featuring a high-level conversation with participation from United Nations University Rector Prof. Tshilidzi Marwala, the discussion will explore how artificial intelligence can advance human and planetary well-being across health, education, climate action, and disaster response. 

Drawing on the report’s findings, the exchange will also examine AI applications in robotics, geospatial analysis, and communications networks, alongside the policy and governance questions they raise. The session will conclude with a cocktail reception celebrating the official launch of the report.
