Building Resilient Global Governance for an Era of Recurring Crises

A webinar of the Global Governance Innovation Platform

Time
- America/New York

This Global Governance Policy Dialogue, hosted by the Global Governance Innovation Platform (GGI), examined how global governance can become more resilient in an era of recurring crises. Drawing on lessons from the Global Financial Crisis and COVID-19, Benjamin Faude (University of Glasgow) and Kenneth W. Abbott (Arizona State University) explored how interconnected governance arrangements can help international institutions absorb shocks, adapt to changing circumstances and prepare for future disruptions. The discussion draws on their UNU-CPR policy brief, Building Resilient Global Governance for an Era of Recurring Crises.
