Luisa Kern is a Mercator Fellow at UNU-CPR.
Luisa recently graduated from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and the Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po Paris, where she completed a dual Master’s degree in International Security with a focus on conflict resolution. She holds a dual Bachelor’s of Arts in Political and Social Sciences from Sciences Po Paris and Nancy and Free University Berlin. Prior to joining UNU-CPR, Luisa gained work experience at foreign policy think tanks and peacebuilding NGOs. She is the network coordinator for the voluntary, youth-led research and advocacy initiative 'Our Generation for Inclusive Peace.' As a Mercator Fellow, Luisa will work on her own project related to conflict-related sexual violence and children and youth in post-conflict settings.
