Earlier this week, UNU-MERIT opened its doors for its first-ever MPP Experience Day, welcoming potential students to find out more about our MSc in Public Policy and Human Development programme (MPP for short) by visiting the institute in-person and tuning in online.
Two informative and Q&A sessions, an alumni panel discussion and a tour around the institute served to show how our MPP programme can realise a wide range of personal, professional and academic goals. Our MPP Programme Director Elaine Lebon-McGregor, staff, current students and alumni spoke with visitors about what life is like studying this unique programme that is a collaboration between the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT) and Maastricht University. This was all followed by the Public Policy MPP Conference - an annual key fixture in the MPP academic calendar, where our students present their work to one another and their lecturers - which most of our visitors also attended.
We enjoyed meeting these potential students who are interested in using their master’s experience to contribute to the SDGs and a more positive global future, and we look forward to seeing some of them in the programme’s next cohort, starting September 2025!
