This webinar is part of the Public Values in AI Research (PAIR) series, which explores how public values are embedded in current AI research practices and where gaps may exist between research directions and societal priorities.

In this session, chaired by Tommaso Ciarli, Dror Markus (Universität Zürich) and Sergio Peláez Sierra (Inter-American Development Bank) will present research on interdisciplinarity in AI and large-scale text analysis of AI patents to identify expressions of public value.

The PAIR project is funded by the ESRC through the UKRI Metascience programme and brings together researchers from multiple disciplines to develop tools and frameworks for understanding how AI can better reflect public values.
