Iman Rajabzadeh is a PhD fellow at UNU-MERIT.

Alongside his expertise in economic modelling, his PhD journey delved into the field of quantitative migration studies. In particular, his research focused on unravelling the migration aspirations of refugees living in neighbouring countries. This undertaking not only enriched his understanding of the complexities of migration dynamics, but also equipped him with advanced analytical tools such as survival analysis and generalised linear models. This distinctive combination of skills allows him to synergistically contribute to research efforts that encompass both economic intricacies and migration complexities.
