This programme is delivered by UNU-INWEH with collaboration with the Division of Water Resources Engineering (TVRL), Lund University's Faculty of Engineering at the UNU Hub on Water in a Changing Environment (WICE).
Lund's PhD in Water Resources Engineering is a four-year, full-time doctoral programme developing advanced research expertise in hydrological processes and the sustainable management of water systems in the built and natural environment. The academic environment is multidisciplinary, combining laboratory and field studies with engineering approaches and environmental perspectives, spanning areas such as coastal engineering and water quality.
About the WICE Hub
Officially launched on 11 November 2024, the UNU Hub on Water in a Changing Environment (WICE) is a partnership between Lund University and UNU-INWEH — the fourth UNU Hub globally and the second in Europe. Its core team draws on three Lund University faculties: the Division of Water Resources Engineering (TVRL, Faculty of Engineering), the Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies (CMES, Faculty of Social Sciences), and the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science (INES, Faculty of Science).
