Mr. William Smyth is an Outreach and Partnership Assistant with experience in advancing the fundamental rights of Indigenous peoples, stakeholder engagement, and community service.
He is an active advocate for the interests of marginalized groups. Prior to joining UNU-INWEH, he worked as a Navigator at The Open Door Montreal shelter, assisting the primarily Inuit unhoused population and supporting individuals in navigating complex healthcare, judicial, and housing systems.
He has a B.A. in Political Science, English, and Computer Science from McGill University and is bilingual in French and English.
