Dr. Ahmed operationalizes advanced SNA and digital data analytics methodologies into UNU-INWEH's research programs, focusing on water security, environmental resilience, and the mitigation of digital misinformation. He analyzes complex social and information flows online, providing essential insights into how conspiracies, hate speech, and AI-driven disinformation impact public perception.
Dr. Ahmed holds a PhD, MSc in Information Systems, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Sheffield (U.K.) and is also an Associate Professor at Hull University Business School.
