Cynthia Chen is a Youth Fellow in Water, Peace and Gender at UNU-INWEH.
Her work supports research and capacity-building initiatives at the nexus of water, gender, and peace. Her interests lie at the intersection of international development and climate justice, with a particular focus on the gendered impacts of climate change.
Cynthia is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Environment, Resources, and Sustainability, with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Waterloo. She has had prior experience with Global Affairs Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada.
