The growing urgency of climate change across Africa spurred the launch of the Climate Forward Summit (CFS), an annual forum convened by IMPLEMENTERS to accelerate the continent’s response through innovation and collaboration.
This year, UNU-INRA researcher, Maria-Ancilla Bombande, will be speaking at CFS on a panel discussing "Governing the Green Transition:Policy, Finance, People and Technology for Ghana's Circular Industrial Future." She will be highlighting the need for multi-stakeholder collaboration: between development partners, project beneficiaries and regional bodies in climate related projects. She will be highlighting UNU-INRA's Innovate for Clean Agricultural technologies project and other UNU-INRA projects as case studies of how to partner for effective project implementation rather working in silos.

The Summit brings together government institutions, private sector leaders, development partners, academia, civil society, and youth advocates to address pressing challenges such as energy transition, sustainable agriculture, urban resilience, and green finance.

By fostering cross-sector dialogue, showcasing climate-smart technologies, and empowering communities, CFS aims to generate actionable recommendations and partnerships that extend beyond the event.
