Nsikakabasi George is a Research Intern at the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), working with the Capacity Building and Digital Health Governance Teams.
As part of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree, he is pursuing his MSc in Governance of Health Systems in Transition (focus on health systems, health financing, and health economics) at Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland, and his research focuses on access to healthcare services for refugees and migrants in Africa.
With over four years of cross-cutting experience across health policy and management, epidemiology, health financing, and global public health, Nsikakabasi has developed and applied his skills in various local and international organizations, such as the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, the UNMGCY, the World Youth Alliance, the Royal Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. Nsikakabasi as a health equity evangelist pushes to improve access to healthcare especia,lly primary healthcare, reduce health disparities through influencing public health policies and its implementation.
