Nathan Dumont-Leblond is an intern at the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH). He works under the supervision of David McCoy and Ramya Kumar for Pillar 1 : Translating Evidence to Policy.
He is a medical student at Laval University, in Quebec City, Canada. His interests have shifted over the years, but he wishes to leverage his background in fundamental sciences, international administration, and medicine to pursue a career in Global Health.
Before joining UNU-IIGH, he worked as a research associate on a broad range of projects in the field of microbiology, from pulmonary and gut microbiota to infectious disease prevention. He is currently working on private sector accountability in global health.
