Background
The Regional Centers of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCEs) are a network of regional partnerships that bring together diverse stakeholders to promote sustainable development through education and learning. RCEs operate as a global network under UNU-IAS, and currently there are over 180 RCEs around the world. The RCE network has a strong focus on youth engagement, with many RCEs developing youth-focused projects and initiatives that aim to promote sustainable development and empower young people to take action in their local communities.
