"Sustainability Science" is an official journal hosted by the United Nations University (UNU) and Integrated Research System for Sustainability Science of the University of Tokyo (IR3S), published by Springer. It is bimonthly journal with current impact factor as 3.429 and offers insights into interactions within and between nature and the rest of human society, and the complex mechanisms that sustain both. The journal promotes science based predictions and impact assessments of global change, and seeks ways to ensure that such knowledge can be understood by society and be used to strengthen the resilience of landscapes. Currently, six issues are published annually with both regular issues and special features.
