Interview with Prof. Shun-ichi Murata Examines Development & Future of SDGs

The video interview discusses the creation and adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals.

A new UNU-IAS video "The Development of the SDGs and Expectations for the Future" features an interview with Shun-ichi Murata (Adjunct Professor, UNU-IAS) who contributed to the creation of the SDGs as a UN task force member. The interview explores the significance of the goals, and the thoughts and process behind their formulation and adoption.

Prof. Murata is an advisor to the SDG–Universities Platform (SDG–UP), a collaborative project of UNU and 32 Japanese universities promoting sustainable development in Japan and beyond.
