On 2 February 2025, UNU-IAS will host the 10th Japan Youth Environmental Activity Contest , bringing together students from 16 high schools across Japan. This annual event aims to provide opportunities for sharing innovative solutions and empowering young leaders to advance sustainability through mutual learning.
Students will also participate in a workshop to exchange ideas and inspire future activities, fostering collaboration and innovation. The event will be co-organized by UNU-IAS, the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ), and the Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency, Japan (ERCA). Please note that this event is not open to the public.
