Apply Now for UNU Intensive Core Courses

Applications are open until 20 July 2022 for the online courses to be held in Autumn 2022.

Applications are now open for the Autumn 2022 session of the UNU Intensive Core (UNU-IC) Courses. The session will be conducted online from 1–29 September 2022.

Every year UNU-IAS organises these four-week courses in Tokyo, Japan. They are designed to provide analyses of global issues from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. Drawing on research projects undertaken at UNU-IAS and other UNU institutes, the courses provide students with a solid background in the essential theories and multilateral approaches to issues of sustainability and development while emphasising interdisciplinary perspectives.

The courses are unique in their extensive engagement of invited scholars and practitioners as guest lecturers, many of whom are experienced UN professionals, to provide students with insights into relevant policy issues and practical challenges. Although advanced in nature, the UNU-IC courses are open to postgraduate students and professionals in a wide range of fields.

The application deadline is 20 July 2022.

For more details, please visit the UNU-IC Courses webpage.
