Raffaele Lima is a Programme Assistant at the UNU-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa (OUIK).
Before joining UNU-IAS in 2024, Raffaele worked at the Ishikawa Prefectural Government Office and Komatsu City Hall as a multilingual translator and Coordinator for International Relations (CIR). Her projects included contributions to the 1st Asian Conference on Biocultural Diversity, initiatives for sustainable tourism, and efforts related to the conservation of culture and biodiversity.
Raffaele has studied in Brazil, England, Italy, Japan and Spain. She holds a Master's degree in Cultural Management from Northumbria University in the UK and a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Tsukuba and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Hailing from Brazil, she brings an international perspective to the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at OUIK.
