Dresden Nexus Conference Set for April 2025

As the world faces increasing resource challenges, DNC2025 will be future-focused

The Dresden Nexus Conference (DNC) will take place in Dresden from 8-10 April 2025, under the theme: "The Future of Resources – Resources of the Future." Since its establishment in 2015, the DNC has served as a platform to foster dialogue on nexus thinking, promoting research and capacity building for the sustainable and integrated management of environmental resources.

This milestone 2025 edition marks the conference’s 10th anniversary and coincides with the 50th anniversary of the United Nations University. The conference will explore the intersections of science, policy, implementation, and real-world applications of nexus thinking.

Experts from academia, development practitioners, decision-makers, and representatives from diverse sectors, including UN agencies, governments, the private sector, and civil society, will gather to share insights.

The first conference circular has been released and available here.
